Dear beloved 450,000 residents of Guro District!
Hello! I am Yoon-hee Gwak, chairman of the 9th Guro District Council.
The 9th Guro District Council has just started.

The role of local councils has become greater than ever due to the complete revision of the Local Autonomy Act and I feel a great sense of responsibility as a chairman of a council.

Using my experiences in a variety of council activities, I will strengthen council members' expertise and try my utmost to bring growth to the district.

Also, I will develop policies that are relevant to the residents' lives, solve complaints and acts as a bridge among the district council, the executive body and the council members.

The 16 members of the council including myself will make Guro District Council a resident-centered council that actively reaches out to the people.
